My father Ralph and his father first started farming turtles by going into the wild and digging the eggs. Established in 1953 by Ralph and Hazel Boudreaux, TANGI TURTLE FARM, INC., has always been and continues to be an industry leader in the farming and sales of baby turtles.

 

TANGI TURTLE FARM, INC. is a family owned and operated turtle farming operation. In 1980 I became a partner with my father Ralph, and Uncle Leon. In 1992 I became full owner. We now have the fourth and fifth generation of Boudreaux's working on the farm.

 

We presently operate out of our state of the art 7,200 Sq. Ft. factory. This building houses our office, hatcheries, and shipping facility.

 

Each year we supply 16 different species of baby turtles or approximately 1.5 million baby turtles to 25 countries worldwide.

 

All turtles follow not only our strict guidelines for supplying a healthy and safe pet to our worldwide customers but also the strict guidelines of the Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

 

Each turtle sold, undergoes three treating procedures to insure you the customer a happy, clean and healthy baby turtle. Shipped to you in IATA (International Airline Transport Association) approved shipping boxes, by the quickest and safest way possible.
